Go Select Limited trading as Recruitment Monster (“the Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to preventing slavery and human trafficking violations in its own operations, its supply chain, and its services. For more information about the Company, please visit: recruitmentmonster.co.uk. POLICIES We operate a number of internal policies to ensure that we are conducting business in an ethical and transparent manner. These include our Modern Slavery Prevention Policy, which sets out our commitment to identifying and preventing forced labour and human trafficking. As a staffing agency, we recognise that our sector carries specific risks. We take the following steps to protect the workers we supply: — We ensure workers do not pay to secure work. Agency and job finding fees are a business cost and must not be passed on to workers. — We ensure workers are treated with dignity and are free from intimidation by supervisors, colleagues or any third parties. — We pay all wages directly into workers’ own bank accounts and do not make cash in hand arrangements. — We verify that workers are free to leave assignments of their own free will and that no penalties, debt arrangements or document confiscation are in place. — We check that workers have safe accommodation and are free to travel to and from work as they wish. — Where applicable, we ensure that any labour supplier we work with is licensed by the Gangmasters and Labour Abuse Authority (GLAA). We make sure our suppliers are aware of our policies and adhere to the same standards. DUE DILIGENCE As part of our efforts to monitor and reduce the risk of slavery and human trafficking occurring in our supply chains, we have adopted the following due diligence procedures: — Identifying and acting on potential risks in our business and supply chains. — Monitoring potential risks on an ongoing basis. — Reducing the risk of slavery and human trafficking occurring in our business and supply chains. All workers are interviewed before placement. We verify identity documents and right-to-work status for every worker. We pay wages directly to workers and do not engage unlicensed labour providers. RISK AND COMPLIANCE The Company has evaluated the nature and extent of its exposure to the risk of slavery and human trafficking in its UK supply chain. We recognise that the sectors in which we operate — warehouse, logistics and general labour — carry a higher risk than some other industries. We mitigate this risk through our direct engagement with all workers, our PAYE employment model, and ongoing monitoring of placements. We do not tolerate slavery and human trafficking in our supply chains. Where there is evidence of failure to comply with our policies and procedures by any supplier, we will require that supplier to remedy the non-compliance or be removed from our supply chain. EFFECTIVENESS The Company uses the following measures to assess effectiveness in ensuring slavery and human trafficking is not taking place in its business and supply chains: — Regular contact with suppliers to enquire about their modern slavery practices. — Staff training on modern slavery awareness. — Regular audit of suppliers and labour providers. TRAINING The Company requires its staff to be trained on slavery and human trafficking. Training covers: how to identify the signs of slavery and human trafficking; what initial steps should be taken if slavery or human trafficking is suspected; how to escalate potential issues to the relevant parties within the Company; what external help is available; and what steps the Company should take if suppliers do not implement anti-slavery policies.
