About the Role

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Senior Care Assistant to join a busy residential care home in Birmingham. You will be part of a supportive team delivering high-quality care to elderly residents, leading shifts and helping to mentor junior staff.

Key Responsibilities

Providing person-centred care to residents in line with their individual care plans
Leading shifts and acting as a point of contact for junior care staff
Administering medication in line with company policy
Liaising with families, healthcare professionals and management
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date care records
Ensuring the home meets CQC standards at all times

What We Are Looking For

Minimum 2 years experience in a care setting
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care — desirable but not essential
A warm, patient and professional manner
Right to work in the UK
DBS check required — we can assist with this
