A well-established manufacturer in Leicester is looking for a Production Planner to join their operations team.

You’ll be responsible for scheduling production to meet customer demand while optimising capacity and minimising downtime.

Key responsibilities:
• Creating and maintaining the production schedule
• Liaising with sales, purchasing, and production teams to balance demand and capacity
• Monitoring actual vs planned output and adjusting the schedule accordingly
• Identifying and resolving scheduling conflicts
• Maintaining accurate production planning data
• Contributing to S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) meetings

Requirements:
• Previous production planning or scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment
• Confident using MRP or ERP systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management
