A logistics company in Nottingham is looking for a Transport Dispatcher to manage their day-to-day driver allocation and collections.

You’ll be the operational hub — allocating drivers and vehicles, monitoring route progress, and handling issues as they arise.

Responsibilities:
• Allocating drivers and vehicles to routes and collections
• Briefing drivers at the start of their shift
• Monitoring progress and dealing with delays or breakdowns
• Communicating with customers regarding ETAs and issues
• Maintaining transport records and completing end-of-day reporting
• Working closely with the Transport Manager and warehouse team

Requirements:
• Previous transport operations or dispatch experience
• Excellent communication skills under pressure
• Good geographical knowledge
• Confident using transport management software
• CPC Transport Manager qualification advantageous
