A large manufacturing site in Birmingham is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join their engineering and maintenance team on a permanent basis.

You’ll be responsible for planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown cover across the site’s production machinery and facilities.

Duties include:
• Carrying out planned maintenance schedules across all production equipment
• Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults
• Minimising downtime through effective fault-finding and repair
• Maintaining accurate maintenance records
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements and reliability enhancement

Requirements:
• Electrical or mechanical engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance role
• Strong fault-finding skills — electrical and mechanical
• Willingness to work shift patterns including occasional weekends
