We’re recruiting Patient Transport Drivers to join a non-emergency patient transport service across Somerset.

You’ll be transporting patients to and from hospital appointments, clinics, and other healthcare settings, providing a safe, dignified, and caring experience.

Your responsibilities:
• Collecting and transporting patients safely to their destinations
• Assisting patients in and out of vehicles
• Completing transport paperwork accurately
• Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and roadworthiness checks
• Communicating effectively with patients, carers, and healthcare staff

Requirements:
• Full UK driving licence (minimum 3 years)
• Clean driving licence (max 3 points)
• Enhanced DBS
• Patient, empathetic, and professional approach
• PCV licence advantageous but not essential — training available
