A highly regarded residential care home in Bath is looking for a Senior Care Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis.

This is a step up from a Care Assistant role — you’ll lead by example, support junior staff, and take responsibility for the smooth running of your shift.

Key responsibilities:
• Delivering high-quality personal and social care to residents
• Leading a small team of care assistants during your shift
• Administering medication (MAR competency required or training provided)
• Liaising with families, district nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Completing care records and contributing to care plan reviews

Requirements:
• Minimum 1 year’s care experience
• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or working towards)
• Medication administration competency advantageous
• Confident communicator and natural leader
• Enhanced DBS required
